The Village
Cinema Febbraio 5th, 2005Forse il meno “pauroso” dei film diretti da Michael Night Shyamalan (“Il Sesto Senso”, “Unbreakable”, “Signs”).
Forse anche quello che mi è piaciuto meno.
L’ho trovato un po’ scontato, anche se alla fine non è un film da buttare.
Cast di attori notevole: Joaquin Phoenix, William Hurt, Adrien Brody, Sigourney Weaver, ma sopratutto una brava Bryce Dallas Howard, figlia di Ron Howard, il Richard “Richie” Cunningham del telefilm “Happy Days”
Il mio giudiuzio è: senza infamia e senza lode.

Cinema Maggio 26th, 2004Ho scoperto quasi per caso che uno dei miei registi preferiti, M. Night Shaylaman (Signs, Unbreakable, Il sesto senso), ha terminato il suo nuovo lavoro The Village, che uscirà negli U.S.A. il 30 di luglio di quest’anno.
Il cast è di tutto rispetto: Joaquim Phoenix, Sigourney Weaver, William Hurt tra gli altri.
Ho visto il trailer che si può guardare dal sito: come al solito Shaylaman riesce a terrorizzare lo spettatore con un sapiente uso della telecamera e dei suoni, senza farci in realtà vedere alcunchè.
